Zarylla goes directly from floating dangerously in space back to piloting the ship again. Not missing a beat.
They are able to locate the lab rather quickly, even better, there’s a merchant ship at their destination. The crew restored the integrity of the ship (using up 6 ship parts), and purchased 4 more, for a total of 5 ship parts in storage. They actually are pretty good on the rest of their supplies, so that’s all they picked up at this stopover.

Things continue to get worse as planets start to explode. You know, the kind of thing you expect from a system that’s gone supernova.
Anyhow, Zarylla decides to put full power into trying to outrun the blast. I don’t know if that was the best idea or not, but the ship is fast, and it makes out out mostly unharmed. 2 points of damage is little in the face of exploding planets. But something tells me this isn’t done yet.

Moonsday, Galatrix 15
It was a rough escape today, trying to leave the station and dodge the falling pieces of moon. Sometimes I regret just a little that I didn’t pick a character who had piloting skills… but maybe I can pick up a crew member along the way to help with that one day.
Anyhow, the Karnack took 4 points of damage as a whole. Thankfully, Zarylla had patched it up before this scenario, so they’re still doing okay!

This was a weird page in that you had to balance out risk vs. reward. Sadly, my rolls were pretty bad, so despite Zarylla attempting to help usher 5 people on the ship to rescue them, only 2 of them actually made it on the ship (not her fault). That’s pretty brutal.
Thankful survivors did offer 3 credits for their rescue. However, on the next page, I’ll be taking a -5 penalty to all rolls.
